Apple announces event on March 21 to unveil new iPad and iPhone?

Apple has sent out an invitation to all techies to attend their upcoming event on March 21 in Cupertino. The event will be held on the Apple Campus, starting at 10am PDT. Live streaming will also be available.

Although there are no further details regarding the event, it is expected that Apple will disclose the features of a new iPhone they are currently working on. Making reference to an already widespread rumor, TechCrunch speculates that the new version of iPhone will adopt the same 4-inch display it implemented on the iPhone 5s edition with an updated chip and camera.

An update on the iPad Air is also expected to be made, as Apple hasn’t revealed much on the upcoming 9.7 inch version. According to TechCrunch, the new iPad should be adapted to work with an Apple Pencil and should be connected to a keyboard cover. Regarding news around Apple Watch, Matthew Panzarino believes that there will not be a new version of the product, but there might be an announcement about new partnerships with fashion companies instead.
